  • How do I create or sign into an account?

    When you log onto our website, enter your phone number in the automatic pop-up, or the pop-up that appears when you click on ‘Sign In’ at the top right corner on the navigation bar. Once you’ve entered your mobile number, an OTP will be shared with you. Enter the OTP to complete account creation/sign in. On our app, you will be asked to enter your number post download and installation.

  • Why should I have an account?

    Your order details, previous purchases, prescription entries and saved addresses will be displayed at the tap of a button when you’re logged in.

  • What is ‘My Cart’?

    Your cart is where you can add products you intend to purchase. In addition, this is where offers like BOGO and promo codes can be applied. The cart displays your order summary, and gives you an option to either chat with us or proceed to checkout.

  • How do I use the Wishlist?

    On our collection pages, and on the product pages, you will see a heart icon below the images of each product. Click on the heart icon to add items you love to save them to your wishlist. You can access your complete wishlist by clicking on the heart icon on the navigation bar at the top.


  • How long does delivery take?

    National shipments depend on your pin-code and the type of lens you opt for. For example, Thin Blu Smartphone Lenses take between 2-7 business days from the date of purchase. Typically, we deliver most orders between 3-7 business days. In case you take additional time to update us on your prescription details, delivery time is extended accordingly.

  • How do I track my order?

    Once you’ve placed your order, and it's ready to dispatch, we will share tracking details with you via email.

  • Are there any additional charges for delivery?

    Absolutely not! All domestic orders shipping within India are free of cost, and will be processed for dispatch within 1-2 business days. We offer mail shipping via BlueDart, Fedex and DTDC.


  • Can I return or exchange my order after delivery is completed?

    We’ve got a no-questions-asked 14 day return and exchange policy, starting from the date of delivery.

  • How do I return or exchange my order?

    You can either call +91-9211844000 or drop an email at support@john-jacobs.com. Alternatively, you can download the John Jacobs app from App Store (IOS) or Play Store (Android); and click on ‘Orders’ in the My Account section to place an exchange or return request.

  • Do I get a warranty on my purchase?

    We’re committed to Lens warranty upto 1 year (Coverage includes Lens coating peel off and Spotting on lens) and Frame warranty upto 6 months (Coverage includes Frame Discoloration/ color fade, Frame coating peel off and Corrosion on frames) with terms and conditions applied.

  • If I return my order, will I be refunded?

    If you return your order within 14 days of delivery, you will receive an automatic refund, no questions asked.

  • What if I want to exchange or return my order after 14 days of delivery?

    In case your order includes progressive lenses, your return & exchange period is automatically extended to 30 days. In other cases, if your 14 days have elapsed, please write to support@john-jacobs.com and we will be happy to review your case.

    On every product page, you will see a ‘Select Lenses’ or ‘Add To Cart’ button (depending on the availability of lens options of the product). When you click on Select Lenses, you will be given a range of various types of lenses to choose from. Opt for the one that matches your budget and visual needs. When you select your lenses, the product will be automatically added to your cart.
